Merck did not have any formal training program in place to onboard agents on the Adverse Event Portal—a critical system for reporting and tracking adverse drug reactions. The absence of structured guidance led to confusion, errors, and inconsistent reporting among new hires.

I was asked to create a comprehensive, end-to-end training solution that would both demonstrate how the portal works and allow agents to simulate reporting an adverse event before accessing live system.

I designed the training in three structured layers:
All assets were consolidated and embedded within a single Storyline 360 course to streamline access and ensure a consistent experience.

The training solution was immediately adopted as the standard onboarding module for agents handling adverse event reporting. Learner feedback highlighted the clarity and usefulness of the simulation, and client stakeholders appreciated the scalable format—reducing time spent on live demos and ad-hoc training.
